Are you a believer of fate? What is fate at first?
I think fate is not equal to destiny but somehow equivalent. Destiny is semantically more positive one in my opinion, in my perspective fate is neutral. Maybe due to the nuances of its more dominantly used meaning, destiny is more like a point than a line. Fate sounds more like a line (like a route).
I always fuss too much over the consequences of realizing everything you do is your fate. And if you believe in fate, why do you still look for fortune teller? If Mr. Tom believes in fate and yet searched for a very well known fortune teller, and hopefully he could give clue to Mr. Tom's future and try to evade the bad outcomes as possible as he can, maybe changing his name, making subtle change in his home fengshui, then isn't he afraid of altering his own fate by doing so? Or maybe finding fortune teller itself is a part of the fate? Then why are you afraid to try things? Isn't it part of fate? Some people say they won't fight their own fate, i would say these people are unintelligent because, they aren't aware of changing can be a part of fate, in the end, that's how the lines of the their fate'd become, so straightly drawn. Just like any other lines.
